Vacation Acadia's "Big Ben " offers modern living right @ charming downtown Bar Harbor. A perfect base for exploring Acadia. Located in a quiet dead-end street w/ 1st floor Master BR with en-suite bath , hi spd internet, Heat and cool each BR with minisplits, with generator. It has a fenced outdoor yard with dining table & chairs with propane grill . It is walking distance to restaurants, bars, bicycle shop, & Shore Path, Bar Island land bridge, Agamont Park. Parks 2 large vehicles.

The space
This is a 4 bedroom 2 full bath Home. The first floor Master Bedroom has en-suite tub shower combo and stacked Washer & Dryer. It has a 55 inch smart TV. It has an armoire for your clothes. The other three bed rooms are on the second floor. All bedrooms have each mini splits providing A/C and heat. Also has centralized heat as secondary source. The second floor bathroom features a walk in shower, double vanity sinks. Two of the bedrooms have queen mattresses and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds- nicely appointed to delight your kids. All three bedrooms have built-in closets. One of the three bedrooms has a small office chair & table suited for remote working

This property can conveniently park two large vehicles. One parks in the paved / asphalt driveway and the other in-front of the house by the gravel. It has an outdoor GFCI outlet close to the paved parking space that could be used to charge electric cars. Please refer to your manufacturer's charging instructions.

This house was designed with guest comfort in mind. There are many spaces to spread around the house.

There is front indoor porch with two cozy swivel sofas for conversations/downtime in-between your adventures.

In addition , there is a fenced outdoor patio with cushioned chairs to seat 6 + propane grill. The cushions and pillows are stored in the resin storage bin nearby. It has an oversized umbrella with built-in solar strip lights providing nice ambience at night. The place is perfect for lounging anytime during the day or evenings.

There are three large segregated garbage disposal bins.

The dining area offers a dining table for 6 and 2 for breakfast counter dining.

The kitchen has a granite counter top, and is equipped to cook a full basic meal. We also provide a lobster pot and crackers.

The outdoor patio furniture will not be available from November to April. The propane grill is available on demand with advanced notice for these cold months.

Located in downtown Bar Harbor. Convenient to everything Bar Harbor has to offer that includes whale watching, island tours, lobster tours, sailing, and Acadia National Park tours. The home also is steps from Park Street Playground , a small fenced playground. Right next to the playground is the YMCA with a nice pool and gym. Across YMCA is the athletic field - for skateboarding, tennis, pickleball, soccer, and baseball. The house is a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants and Shore Path Trail. Other beautiful and scenic hiking trailheads are just a few minutes away.

The house 4 beds, 2 bath for 8 guests. Mini splits in each BR and LR providing heat and A/C with whole home generator . We have complimentary pack n play and high chair for your little precious, if needed. Our parking accommodates 3 small cars or 2 large SUV's / pick up trucks. Parking is arranged with 2 small cars side by side by the paved parking or 1 large SUV. The other vehicle parks in front of the house by the grass (not road). We have strong wifi.

The main level features a front and back deck with outdoor seating & dining, living and dining rooms, and kitchen. Kitchen is fully stocked. Comfortable oversized leather power reclining chairs face the large smart TV. Perfect for watching your favorite shows and movies.

Our back yard has outdoor furniture and a propane grill.

The upper level is accessed via full flight of stairs with with 3 bedrooms and one full bath. Two of the rooms have queen sized beds. The third room has a twin over a twin bed (bunk beds that measure 38 inches wide x 75 inches long mattress). One of the rooms with queen bed has a smart TV. Full bathroom has heater.

The lower level is accessed via full flight of stairs with own exit to outside. It features a master bedroom and full bath with small living area with smart TV. There's 1 washer and 2 dryers in the bathroom.

This is a 3 bedroom 2 full bath home. There are two master bedrooms each with decks. The first floor Master has a king sized bed, en-suite bathroom, wardrobe closet, 58 inch Smart TV, washer & dryer, and a sliding door to access the 12x12 feet deck with patio furniture. The first floor bathroom has a tub-shower combo, toilet and single vanity sink with touch screen mirror.

The second floor Master Bedroom features a king-sized bed, sectional sofa, small wardrobe closet located just before you enter the room towards your left side, 75 inch smart TV, 12x8 feet balcony overlooking athletic field. The second floor third bedroom has a single queen-sized bed, closet, swivel chair, and small office table and chair. The second floor full bath features a small tiled walk-in shower, toilet, and single vanity sink with touch screen mirror. Minisplits in each BR , dining provide AC and heat. Additional heating as a back up is through electric baseboard heat.

This property can conveniently park two vehicles in tandem. Fenced backyard with gate to driveway and to the public tennis/ pickle ball court directly abutting the house.

This house was designed with guests' comfort in mind. There are many spaces to spread around the house and the yard. A deck on each floor, nice sized backyard with propane fire pit. There is no formal living room as the sectional sofa is integrated in the second floor master bedroom.

This is a 3 bedroom 1 full bath, 1/2 bath vacation home. Upon entering is a 3-season porch. where to your left are two comfortable leather recliners, and a fireplace for the winter months. To your right is a dining table that seats 6 people. Next to it is a cozy sofa with Smart TV with a sliding door to access the outdoor deck /patio and grill.

The second door leads you to the living room with a leather sofa with another smart TV. The full flight of stairs leading to the three bedrooms upstairs will be on your right.

Past the living room, is the kitchen with a peninsula granite counter top with seating for three. This area connects via a sliding door to the outdoor deck/patio. The kitchen has granite counter top equipped to cook a full basic meal. We also provide a lobster pot and crackers. Washer & Dryer are in the kitchen . Full bath with walk in shower, sliding glass door, single vanity sink is right next to the kitchen.

The three bedrooms upstairs are small but very cozy. With comfortable beds, pillows and a day & night blinds which help provide restful sleep. Each bedroom has heat pumps with remote control to provide personalized heating and cooling. At the end of the hallway is the half bath.

This property can easily park two vehicles. Parking by the gravel has to be in tandem to accommodate 2 large vehicles.

The deck with patio is connected to the covered front Porch and the Kitchen. Enjoy outdoor seating with retractable awning to shade you from the elements. We have propane grill for your cooking pleasure. There are three large garbage disposal bins stored in the outdoor plastic shed on the right side of the house. The first one on the left is for recyclable cans and bottles. The middle and right bins are for regular trash.

The house is four seasons. It has centralized heating system using hot water baseboard heater. The Nest thermostat is located in the living room. A convection wall heater and a propane fire place warms up the covered porch.

Come and stay for a unique experience of Somes Sound Harbor. The Sound is the only fjard in the East coast. This fjard runs deep into Mount Desert Island, the main site of Acadia National Park. See eagles, wild fowls & other wildlife right at your backyard. Complimentary kayaks & life vests are available to explore the Harbor. Enjoy sunrise, moonrises or stargaze from the dock.

Located in Somesville at Mount Desert Island right in the middle of everything Acadia National National Park has to offer, with convenient access to Bar Harbor, SW Harbor & NE Harbor (13-15 mins drive). The house is in a National Historic District in between the Somesville Library & The Gallery at Somes Sound. The Somesville Museum & Gardens is right across the street. There are multiple hiking trails close by.

You can't get any closer to the water than this. The waterfront is tidal which is awesome. On high tide the ocean water is about 5 feet from the house. High tide is about 8-12 feet high. Low tide is perfect for beach exploration.

This is a 3 level house with 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bath. The fourth full bathroom is located on the main level. There are two master bedrooms located respectively on the upper and lower levels of the house. Each with king size beds. The second bedroom in the upper level has two queen beds. This waterfront vacation home offers unforgettable views of Somes Harbor with its backdrop mountains of Acadia National Park. The backyard also features a private wharf with gangway to the floating dock.

Located right in the middle of the Historic Village of Somesville. The house is located between the Somesville Library and the Gallery at Somes Sound. Across the street to the left side is the historic Somesville Museum & Gardens with the famous picturesque Somesville wooden walk bridge. Very conveniently located for exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Mill Pond is on the right side of the house. During Spring, Alewives (fish) would swarm under the private wharf waiting for the tide to be high enough for them to swim to the fish ladder towards Mill Pond, then to Somes Pond. The beautiful Echo Lake with its sandy beach and Long Pond which is perfect for kayaking & stand up paddle boarding are just 5-7 minutes from the house .

The Upper Level of this vacation home features two bedrooms. The master bedroom has an expansive picture window of the Somes. The Master Bedroom features king size bed, ensuite bath (walk in shower, vanity, toilet), smart tv, and comfortable power Leather Italia loveseat. The second bedroom has queen beds and an en-suite bath (walk in shower, vanity, toilet).

The Lower Level Master bedroom has an open concept design. This bedroom is accessed via the main level with full flight of stairs with rail on the left upon coming down. It has sliding glass door that exits to the waterfront where the private wharf and dock are located. This room features, a beautiful picture window with seating for three. There is an entertainment area with power reclining Leather Italia loveseat to view the smart TV. The full bath features a free standing bath tub, vanity sink, & toilet. This lower level also houses the laundry room with one washer and two dryers.

The main floor (level with the parking area) features the living room with comfortable oversized 2 leather loveseats and 1 sofa. Sit back and enjoy our 75 inch smart TV. Dine and enjoy the Harbor view through the wide picture window . Breakfast nook has seating for 3 and the dining table with seating for 5. The kitchen has full size appliances: fridge, stove top oven, dishwasher, counter top microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and blender.

The house is four seasons. During the cooler months of the year the house has two sources of heat (late Fall, Winter, Early Spring). The house features heat pumps with Air-condition (Summer) / Heating features and electric baseboard heaters.

The backyard features propane fire pit with comfortable polywood Adirondock chairs. A private wharf with gangway to the float for easy access to the water. The waterfront is tidal. There's complimentary Kayaks. There are life vests for guest to use. They are complimentary. The wharf has outdoor dining table with seating for 8 with the propane fired grill right next to it.

The property can park two vehicles parallel to each other. No room for a third vehicle. We have an EV charger that can be used with a fee.

Welcome to our beautiful ocean front home. Located 20-25 mins. to downtown Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park Visitor Center. The house sits on 5.5 acres with 525 ft of gravel & mud beach front on a cove. We have another vacation home located next to this house. It can be rented together accommodating up to 15 guests. Both homes have its own driveway, parking for multiple vehicles, back yard, & stairs to the beach.

The house sits on a bluff with great views of the Western Bay Cove & the mountains of Acadia. It accommodates 7 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.

The first level features living and dining areas that have direct access to the deck with great ocean views, a fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom with walk in corner shower, & bedroom with comfortable king sized bed, walk in closet, reading bucket chair, and serene ocean views.

Living room features a comfortable leather sofa with power reclining seats on 4 of the 5 connected seats. Controls for the middle chairs are located in the crevice in between them.

Dining table seats 8 with additional 2 seats at the kitchen peninsula. Kitchen is fully stocked. Full size appliances includes fridge / freezer, electric oven / stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, drip carafe & k-cup coffee makers with complimentary start up coffee.

Second level is accessed via soft carpet stairs. It features the master bedroom with comfortable king size bed, two closets, a bar table with 3 soft stools perfect for some remote working, & a balcony with seating for 2 to enjoy awesome views of the ocean & the mountains beyond. A 3rd bedroom with a twin bed over a full bed is perfect for other adults, teens, & small children. The twin bed is easily accessed via side steps. Second full bath with tub shower & washer / dryer are also on the 2nd floor.

Outdoor living features two areas. One with firewood fed fire pit with 3 twin wooden chairs surrounding the pit. We provide start up firewood with fire starting materials stored in a small plastic bin close to the pit. Perfect for making s'mores and the unique experience of strong heat with crackling sound from the burning wood. The second area is right on the bluff's edge with picnic table and comfortable Adirondacks chairs and great views of the bay and Acadia mountains.

Private stairs leads you to the beach where a secured floating dock sits by the beach with our complimentary kayaks and Adirondack chairs. The stairs may be steep for most people. The dock is perfect for daytime reading, lounging, and night stargazing. Here you will see seagulls peck on clams, fly them up in the air and drops them to break and access their meal. Comb the beach and look for washed up treasures. Create wonderful memories with your family and friends, Enjoy "Seabank"!

The 4th bedroom / loft is accessed via soft L shaped stairs offering privacy for its occupants at its location. It has twin over twin beds ( 38 inches wide, 75 inches long mattresses each). It offers 360 views of its surrounding via its small windows. Access to the upper twin bed is via safe side steps.

Outdoor living, offers multiple areas. Wrap around deck has outdoor seating. Firewood fed fire pit has 3 twin wooden chairs surrounding it. We provide start up firewood with fire starting materials stored in a small plastic bin close to the pit. Fire pit is perfect for making s'mores and the unique experience of strong heat with crackling sound from the burning wood. Further down towards the beach is another deck for al fresco outdoor dinning. It features a dining table, 6 chairs, and a propane fired grill. Connected to this deck are the stairs leading to the beach where a secured dock sits by the beach with our complimentary kayaks and Adirondack chairs. The steps to the beach are a little steep for most people. The dock is perfect for daytime reading, lounging, and stargazing. If lucky, you will see seagulls peck clams, fly them up in the air and drop them to break and access their meal. Comb the beach and look for washed up treasures. Create wonderful memories with your family and friends!
